Our Choices

Design

We have chosen to limit our colour palette and the cut / designs of our items to be fairly classic. The aim of this, combined with sturdy fabrics, is to ensure the clothes we design will not end up in landfill anytime soon. We want to avoid 'Fast Fashion'.

Fabrics

What an item of clothing is made from is very important; not only because it has to be comfortable and suitable for purpose, but also because it is important to us that it is responsibly sourced, sustainable and environmentally friendly.  For this reason, we have carefully selected two main types of fabrics:

Organic Cotton - Our Hoodies, Tshirts and Beanies are made from 100% organic cotton.  Organic Cotton is produced using less chemicals, less energy and is better for the farmland as it encourages a more balanced eco-system. As a consequence of this Organic Cottin is classed as ‘hypoallergenic’ so has no allergy effect or irritation to the person wearing it too. 

Recycled Polyester -  Our Baseball Caps and Gym wear are made from Recycled Polyester.  Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean.  It is also made from recycled plastic waste that is found in the Ocean. This process of converting PET into recycled polyester requires much less energy than in the process of producing normal polyester, with the added benefit of recycling. 

Packaging

All of our items are dispatched without being individually wrapped in plastic bags. We use boxes that are made from 100% recycled material, and are recyclable. We use brown paper tape which is also both recycled and recyclable, as well as postage labels made from recycled paper.  Therefore you can be safe in the knowledge that you entire box can go straight into the recycling bin, or indeed you could re-use it.
